Katharine K. Zarrella is a writer, editor, critic, and lecturer. She currently contributes to such publications as The New York Times, Vogue, The Wall Street Journal, 10 Magazine, L'Officiel, and many others. In addition to her editorial work, Katharine works as a lecturer on the MFA Fashion Design and Society course at Parson's School of Design and guest lectures at London's Central Saint Martins. Katharine launched her career by writing for publications including Interview, The Business of Fashion, and Dazed & Confused. After earning an MA in Fashion and Fashion Journalism from Central Saint Martins, she landed at Style.com, where she was News Editor, and later at V Magazine and VMAN, where she was Senior Editor. In 2016, she launched the digital platform Fashion Unfiltered, which has since become part of the MA Fashion Communication program at CSM. Katharine has written for Harper's Bazaar, W, and SHOWstudio, among many other publications. She lives in New York with her three rabbits (Schiaparelli, Dalí, and Coco), several mannequins garbed in outsize Comme des Garçons ensembles, and about 300 hats.
